I believe if you research his background a bit more thoroughly, he is very experienced at selling franchises. Regarding his ability to sell "restaurant software" to "restaurants", there is no better person to sell uWink's software. The ability to effectively sell this software hinges on the salesman's ability to accurately explain how the software fits into restaurant workflow, labor benefits, explanation new front of house workflow, explanation of kitchen workflow, training times, etc. Those who have worked and managed restaurants can fully and effectively answer those types of questions. Who do you think should sell the software to restaurant owners, PC salesmen? Those of us that are managers and get sales pitches from all sorts of vendors know that the best sales pitches come from salesmen that actually know about the business they are selling to! Not the canned sales approach but a true understanding of the business they are selling into.
