There are additional feedstock options such as cohune nuts, palm oil and sugar cane. All available cost effective feedstock options will be considered.
When it comes down to it, all non-food crop feedstock should be used to off-set the high crude oil prices. Gasoline prices in the USA will probably start climbing back up again.

Using Miscanthus as a feedstock for ethanol production in the U.S. could significantly reduce the acreage dedicated to biofuels while meeting government biofuels production goals, the researchers report."
