"PLease explain how the subsequent events 'reek of lack of talent.'

Other than at the CRO they hired, which does not apparently prioritize responsibility to their clients. That CRO is a prime candidate for one of NI's less-than-coveted End of Year awards..."

Neuro - Get something straight. I could give a flying fiddle less about who wins your cute "office pool release of results." And I care less about whatever trumped up self indulgent award some academia is going to award to himself.

What I do care about is that at the very least, this delay was either not expected (bad management not knowing something that you say everyone knows and should expect), not addressed (bad management by not managing away the problem), and not forecasted to the general public and shareholders in either an intelligent (Bad management if they didn't know because they are incompetent by your assertion that everyone should know) or ethical manner (Bad management if they did know because then they put out a deceiving forecast).

You're certainly entitled to your opinion about this company. And your opinion about the science behind this company is obviously more valid than mine, and much appreciated I might add.

However, management of a company (both private and public)is something that I know a bit about and am qualified to pass judgement on.

This may be "the best that poor little Cortex could do under the circumstances", but you know what? It isn't damn near good enough! The silence out of them is deafening! And the delay should have been avoidable with more expert planning and management.

Cordially,
RBlatch
