I suspect the, unless things change very, very substantially, AMD will be a one decision stock for a very long time. No matter how much it goes up in the near term it will remain an extraordinarily good long term value. Its market cap could, in due course, exceed that of inteL now. If you do the arithmetic, the implications of this are astonishing. In my mind the only importance of the price that you pay for the stock here is in determining how many shares you are able to buy for a given amount of investment. No matter what you pay, you will have extremely substantial gains in time.
