Natural gas will go up in price over the years if demand picks up. We can't really import it like oil, so we rely on our own fields here in North America. I does burn cleaner but I doubt they will ever use it in cars etc. since it would probably blow up in a little fender bender. I think the best plays for the long run will be solar and wind. That's what I keep thinking anyway.

Pickens is a very smart man and I'm glad to see he is on the side of alternative energy. Oil will still be in demand for at least another decade.
