jmhollen...you don't seem to understand...it takes about $1,000,000,000 these days to launch a successful new vehicle that will pay back all the investment dollars. It takes about $100,000,000 to do a motorcycle.

Although Harley is STILL not mechanically "up-to-date" they had the luck and "image" to make it through numerous threats to their future.

Harley Davidson should be in obscurity. Engineers have little good to say about them STILL...after all these years!
