Are you kidding me? You think that's a "bad" thing? People LOVE Independents. Many on this board consider themselves Independents. Republicans and Democrats alike consider themselves "Independents" a lot of times.

And of course Alaska's "Alaskan Independence Party" will have the motto "Alaska First". They are a local, organized effort to bring back their State's rights and vote for succession just like Texas did. Who cares?

I'll wager if you took a poll on this very board, you'll find that most here would love to see more powers brought back to the State level.

It's good that we may have someone in the White House that has a focus on States rights and reducing the reach of the Federal government. The only folks that don't want that are non-achievers and bed wetters feeling sorry for said non-achievers.
