I don't see the TV commercial as corny by any means. It's straight to the point, shows its virtues and multi-uses and compares itself at least to one more traditional type intrusive ear contact thermometer. Only so much one can jam pack sometimes into a 30-second commercial, but I'd expect that there were at least several versions made that were presented before some focus groups to come up with this one. Like you say, there are other key selling points as well that can be presented and maybe there are more than one version of the Thermofocus ready in the wings for future TV advertisements.

I like what I see, and I like that the company is showing a genuine move to market penetration with TV commercial ads.
