Actually, you don't have to whittle anything, look at the EDIG financials and it tells the story. As of the last statement, 950 units had been delivered and EDIG's total revenue from those players was next to nothing.

All the revenue was non-recurring. Licensing and royalties on the first 950 units was exactly ZERO. Hard to "whittle" nothing.
