peppertree: Comments like yours embody some of the essence of what had me voting Republican for years. While I always thought of the Republicans as the lesser of the two evils, there is a Grand Canyon between the two parties, the Republicans being far more worthy of my vote.

To get an idea of just how vile Democrats can be, all one has to do is to watch MSNBC (MSDNC) for a day or so or read some of the political threads on SI and iHub.

As far as intelligence is concerned, I don’t believe poor judgment is necessarily an indication of a lack of intelligence. But in your case, I suspect the two are associated.
