Check this out though. Historically, governors have beaten out Washington types for the top job. Now you have two Sentors running against each other. One has a Senator VP pick and the other a Governor VP pick.

Man, the RNC knows how to maneuver through the politics, eh? LOL!

Forget the issues on the table. My guess is that McCain picking a Governor for the VP job increases his likelihood of winning significantly. I've never really entertained the idea that Obama might win anyway. EXTREME long shot regardless of what the polls show, IMO.
