Man actually does thin the herd, but our instinct for survival is why there are more folks now. We can be victims of our own success that is true because we can have a successfull feel and have that be totally false in the long run. That is a constant concern in business, politics, and in life.

Our standard of living is a function of the energy we gather around ourselves is a pretty accurate statement so the discussion started with energy, why not more of it and now ?
