My 2 cents re: SSWH
I sent an email to Paul as follows:
Paul,
I am glad you were able to provide an update on the company. I have been an investor for several months. I know you are continuing to work on the website, but at the least, I would strongly encourage you to get several items on the website current ASAP.
I think some new investors reading the latest PR and coming to our site are going to be confused by the lack of information. I think we need to have the following information ASAP....
1. CONTACT - proper address and phone number
2. ABOUT US - who are the people behind the scenes?
3. HISTORY - always a good read to see what the history is about
Also, listing patents, awards, etc. are great. I think there are some redunancies as well that should be quickly addressed, namely the menu (Contact Us, Products, Q&A, History, Q&A) on the lower left hand side of the page. This is redundant and serves no purpose.
I would like to see a professional website and believe you are moving to the right direction, but the site needs to be fully functional when released, or potential shareholders will be wary of the company. If there is something not ready, then label it as "coming soon", etc.
I hope you take this as constructive criticism. I have an in-depth IT background and am offering my opinions. I believe the items above should require minumum effort. If you are paying the group to do your website too much money, I know many qualified people who will work for $50 per hour or so (no, I am not this type of person myself).
