I agree with most of your comments, I do beleive that UPDV or HTOG do not have to care about it's investors at all, but they do need to care about what they think. It is not a personal thing!
But they do have to start showing that they can make a profit or the investors will leave and their stock will be worthless. This is a business not a daycare.
Having said that I beleive that they do want to make a profit and I do own stock in both.
