the source rocks in the backen formation needs horizontal
drilling and fracturing to produce oil or gas, read up on the backen formations and what companies are doing to be successful there, I know what im talking about, you might hit a soft spot ware it will flow good, but that's not vary often, it wasn't even deemed to be viable there until the new drilling technology came out, sure they have a lot of land, but they got to get some expert drilling company and geologist to make it happen.
