Interesting article in Business Week (6/23/08) featuring T.Boone Pickens titled 'There Will Be Water'. Seems Mr. Pickens is buying all the land he can in the Texas Panhandle which of course, includes Hereford, in an attempt to control the Ogallala aquifer.
