"frogdreaming," perhaps you haven't noticed, but we're going through a credit crisis (started as a housing crisis, but it's spread considerably beyond that.) Maybe they don't have as much spare personal cash as you assume. How do any of us know what their personal balance sheets look like? Also, one could argue they would have been foolish, to pour money into buying the stock, while it was aggressively and blatantly being manipulated downward. They could be taking a watch-and-wait approach, and will buy now that the stock has apparently bottomed. How do we know? At any rate, they own a lot of stock options, on top of the stock they own, it's not as though they're keeping their hands away from this stock. Note, I don't base my investment decisions on insider trades *(or lack thereof,) or conspiracy theories.
