I allmost bought in the other day till I did the math- A new well putting out 2-3 brrls a day - 30%-50% of that is oil the other is garbage. Garbage that is considered hazardous waste and quite expensive to clean or dispose of. Bought interest in a 3rd well ? What percent interest did they aquire (maybe 1%) who knows.
