Prudent cost-cutting is one reason. Staying the course and obviously expanding their distributor base, is another reason. Their cutting-edge technology and ingenuity, and willingness to keep trying no matter what the bashers might say, forging new partnerships and agreements, seeking new financing (and/or advantageous buyout, as the NNBP case showed,) are just a few reasons. DNAPrint is a bunch of hard workers with serious talent, that's why they're still around, and why the press consistently calls their technologies "cutting edge." How you can dis that day after day, is beyond me.
