Non-whites can bring up race at the drop of a hat. Whites cannot. Whites must wait for the card to be pulled before bringing it up.

For example in the entertainment world. Dave Chappel, whom is a great comedian IMO, can make racist remarks against whites all day in a stand up routine. No one really cares. But he also stereo types blacks as well. And again, no one really cares.

Now, let a white comedian get up there and do the same. LOL! Not always but most of the time, it's a problem.

Here's another example. Black guy walks down the road and a truck full of whites yell out the "n" word. This could turn ugly depending on location and accessibility to the white guys. I live outside Atlanta and I've been called "Cracker" at the concerts on the bricks. What the hell do I care? LOL! So I'm a saltine cracker. Big deal. Note that even on this message board, I was uncomfortable typing out what that "n" word is. I do kinda get that though.
