DENVER — Rep. Jesse L. Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.) told convention-goers Monday that Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is like baseball pioneer Jackie Robinson – enduring jeers without the ability to hit back.



Who's "jeering" at Obama? I don't remember anyone blasting Obama due to his color. His muslim background? Sure. But not his color. Seems democrats are trying to stir a race issue where there is none. I'll be the first to say that southern democrats probably won't vote for a black muslim. But that's the democrat's problem to deal with. LOL!

This reminds me of Tiger Woods back in the day. Blacks tried to tie Tiger into an "African American" group membership. But Tiger advised that he embraced his asian side more since his mother was. LOL! Obama's not black or white. He's a mix. And it's silly to see democrats trying to define him to one group. But that's what democrats do, in general. Group identity is king. Damn the individual.
