I understand your point..I see his failure to put his hand over his heart as a secret squirrel message to the idiots back at Trinity Church.

I volunteer my time and donate in my local community but it has nothing to do with "patriotism"...When I cut my monthly check to St. Judes Hospital, patriotism is the furthest thing from my mind.

Putting your hand over your heart when observing the National Anthem in the presence of the flag shouldnt even be a topic of discussion...It should just be done. Especially for someone who wants to be President......All the athletes were doing it at the Olympics....Why cant Obama?

IMO, running for President these days is more about power and influence than Patriotism....We live in an age where it is "cool" to be ashamed of your country.....I am ashamed of Bush and his gang of thugs....Not my country.

Obama needs to learn the rules of conduct as it applies to the flag. He is either being disrespectful or just plain stupid.
