Yep, good point, I forgot about senior as well. I was okay with him. He had judgment and some brains, unlike his moronic son.
And I can understand the wanting of the vet as a leader, I would have been okay with McCain 8 years ago, but politics have eroded his integrity.
And with regard to his military service 50 years ago...his experience from war about their being a winner and a loser, one nation beating another, is not applicable to our current challengea/problems. Continuing to make foreign policy and national security decisions based on that old construct will only take our country closer and closer to oblivion.
