Using VOIP you may be able to do the things you are talking about, but then you are using signal only from on radio frequeny. What I was talking about is that you are not able to take advantage of bot Wifi signal and UMTS or CDMA at the same time. But from one signal you can access/use both voice (VOIP equals data) and data if there is enough bandwith present. Today there would probably be difficult doing this at 3G nets or GRPS, but with Wifi or bluetooth it may be possible.
