If it was as the pr said. If the additional shares were held as backing for the loan, then they can not be sold with the exception that the loan has been terminated, and paid off, then the company could sell them. Or if the company in the shares place, gave a seperate backing against the loan and removed the shares as backing. It like a release of a lien against property, once the property is paid for then the bank releases the lien they have.
