blackstns,
Aero has painted themselves into a corner, with regards to actually ramping up sales. See, if I have a car (like a CR-V), and Honda tells me that if I put on an Aero muffler I will void my warranty, why would I go out and get one? Signing up distributors is meaningless if it doesn't turn into SALES. When product is left unsold at a distributor, they will send it back to Aero. Or, as was shown in an earlier fiscal quarter, if one distributor doesn't have any in stock, they're shuffling from one to another, which throws the revenue figures out of whack, since they're buying back previously recorded revenue sent to a distributor, only to re-sell it to another distributor. So the numbers are not correct, or indicative of anything. It's like robbing Peter to pay Paul. In this case, it's buying back inventory sold to Peter to sell it to Paul. Since the company wasn't transparent in how much of that quarter's sales were incurred in this manor, there is no way for us to be sure. But then again, they've left quite a bit in the vague category, like their percentage gains. Except for 4Q numbers, where they gave the gain over 4Q last year, and allowed us to compute revenue figures. And those figures, in a quarter that was supposed to be huge since April would be like having 2 months in one (supposedly) with the supply issues, were DISMAL.
The company is in a bind. And they know it. And we all know it here too. The filings tell the story.
IMO/FWIW
