Amazing, yes, but...

...meaningful, probably not. As we've seen over the last few years, shorts can be very patient and significantly whittle down their position over time, make very nice profits and not drive the price up.

Also, don't forget the options markets are available for covering without impacting the price. I seem to remember when options were first listed for TIV, Lynn was touting that as some great accomplishment. Never mind that he likely had nothing to do with it and probably didn't even know it was going to happen. The openning of options added a lot more liquidity for all, including shorts, and in that respect made shorting even more attractive.

Good job Lynn. You are such a joke.
