I didn't find Cindy's quotes or story to be able and keep it in context. But here's my take.

I've never met Yngwie Malmsteen or Zakk Wyldd. But both have encouraged me to be a better guitarist. Whether they know it or not (they don't), both artists have convinced me to keep studying the instrument.

As for being an only child only to find out that she has 2 half sisters...

My wife's parents divorced when she was 7 or 8. She was the only child. Father stayed in Cali. Mother moved to Georgia. Both remarried and by the time my wife was 11, both her mother and father had more children. She did not get to see her father very much and never got to know her half brother and sister. In fact, by the time twins came along, my wife was 26 and married to me! On her mother's side, she had a half brother and sister. She had to babysit them and due to the age difference, they were viewed more like "kids" rather than siblings. Therefore, I can PERSONALLY relate to anyone stating they were an only child when in fact they have half siblings. My wife will tell you that she was an only child.

I can't speak to Cindy's relationship with her half siblings though. What's the age difference? Who stayed with who? How often did they see each other?
