Brite-Strike Tactical Illumination Products, Inc. Launches Major Media Advertising CampaignLast update: 8/20/2008 8:30:05 AMNational Broadcast and Print Ad Campaign Highlights Company's Line of Tactical Flashlights and Personal Protection Systems KINGSTON, Mass., Aug 20, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Brite-Strike Tactical Illumination Products, Inc. (Pink Sheets:BSTI), a leader in the design of advanced, high-intensity LED (light-emitting diode) tactical flashlights and personal protection systems for the military, law enforcement and consumer markets, announced today it has launched a major media advertising campaign during the month of August with print ads slated for USA Today, the nation's largest daily newspaper, and a 30-second commercial airing on several high-profile cable networks. The national television campaign is scheduled to continue through the early fall months. The TV ads can be seen beginning this month on several major cable networks like: Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, Fox Business News, Fox News, Tru-TV, and MSNBC. A full-page print ad will appear in USA Today, the nation's most widely circulated newspaper, reaching more than two million readers per day. "We are making a significant investment to move the Brite-Strike brand forward," said Glenn Bushee, president of Brite-Strike Technologies, Inc. "Advertising on CNBC, for example, with over 95 million viewers, gives us a way to kick off our campaign in a big way. Our goal is to bring personal safety into the hands of ordinary citizens; their security is of the utmost importance." Designed by police officers, the company's high-performance flashlights use cutting-edge Philips Lumileds Luxeon(R) technology to produce 198 lumens of ultra-bright light that can disorient and temporarily impair the vision of an attacker. Brite-Strike's Tactical Blue-Dot(TM) Series is currently used by various government agencies, the military, SWAT teams and other law enforcement officials. Its patented Lightning Strike(TM) Personal Protection System thwarts potential attackers with a combination of a high-intensity flashing strobe light and a super loud, ear-piercing personal alarm, specifically designed for women, seniors, students and other private citizens seeking an easy-to-deploy personal protection system. Previously, Brite-Strike's line of protection products had only been available by word-of-mouth, the company's website, or several high-end catalogs, including Frontgate and Herrington. Recently, however, retail giants such as BJ'S Wholesale Clubs, Amazon.com, and Lowes.com have agreed to join the growing number of retail channels carrying Brite-Strike.
