Gee. A little truth that fools don't want to hear. Obama and all members or Congress would never advocate the slaughter of a child who had just survived an abortion attempt. We all in our same minds now this.
However that fact that Republican politicians and their stooges have allowed MY PARTY to come to this low level has been reason enough for me to vote for Obama!! Reagan, who like me was strongly opposed to abortion would never have supported such attacks. This is what has killed the Republican brand right before our eyes.
McCain has bought into it as his only way to win not understanding that if he wins he will get absolutely nothing done with a Democratic Congress that will be opposed to everything he claims he wants to do. His policies are indeed Bush's policies which in turn are really the policies of the Party and the Big Businesses that run the party.
The fact that Republicans have not won a fair election since the first Bush should tell us all something about our party. They continue to use the stupid masses that work too long to really understand any of the issues. They feed on sould bites and the internet for a quick fix on who to vote for. They follow idiots who are paid to be the idiots they are such as Hannity, Limbugh, O'Reily, Dobbs and all of the paid pundits on radio and tv.
It is truely sad and another reason to fix, or in my opinion replace, our k-12 education system. How many of these fools understand that the abortion issue is settled law that cannot be over-turned even by the supreme court. Like same-sex marriage a Constitutional Ammendment would be needed to truely settle any major change. Otherwise only lawyers benefit from the constant legal battles. The same is true with almost every other emotional issues that is used to play the stupid masses.
The real issues will never be addressed as long as our system continues to work this way.
Yes I am a Conservative Christian Republican and I hate abortion. I think that the people would make that choice pay a higher price than most of us think. As Obama stated during that religious debate, we need to increase Adoptions, Help for Single Mothers, Child care, and make it so available that only the lowest of animals would every consider abortion again. He did not put it like that, but he should have and I would have.
THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO WIN THE WAR ON ABORTION. I'm glad someone finally said it though I doubt anyone heard him and the Media will certainly not address it. I would also support eliminating all federal and state tax dollars going to Planned Parenthood, funny name, or any other abortion group. We could use the same funds to support these new mothers and their children and promote adoption. If you have to, take away some of the wasted foreign aid we send to all of our enemies.
