Agreed. I think vantillian would agree with this as well. I think we have all had to learn a lesson or two with high expectation low priced stocks.

I think for new or inexperienced investors they would be best off staying away from all grey and pink sheets and most BB.

This is why criterias like these exist to try and save the mistakes that cost us and the average investor big money every day, month and year.

From a more theoretical level, most should learn to be wary and realize that there are going to be bag holders (losers) in most of these deals. This is in part why I like lowman's Money 101 site (link in Ibox). He makes this point very clear.
