If you really had any interest in the company, you would take five minutes to keep up with its news instead of lurking here contributing absolutely nothing...

My thought is they are rough cast dore bars. We know they have iron, silver and gold. There are no traces of lead in the small samples I brought back, but again these samples are what the lab called flux and the better metals will be located below the level of flux.

The bars are about 18 inches long and 4.5 inches square and each one wieghs about 130 pounds.

We have no idea yet of their value, and will not know until Randy gets home on Wedensday with the slices. Even then it will take us another week to 10 days before the report gets back to me.

The sample I took in was mostly iron with small amounts of silver and gold. But again remember they were taken from the top outside corner of the bars, the flux is always on top and sort of shatters like glass. Also because of the large amounts of irom near it the ocean sort of sets up an electrolisis and so the out side 1/2 inch or so will be contaminated with sullfieds. So because of my lack of experiance with these things I took the worst possible samples I could have taken. I'm sorry to say that I never had found anything like this before and a a result I did not think it through very clearly when I took the sample. But I know better now and it will not happen again.

One thing I can tell you is they sound very different than iron when I hit them with the hammer, they almost make a flat ringing sound. Also the second one I brought up cleaned off pretty easy, and there was a real neat swirrel pattern of very shinny silver metal in the top center of it, sort of like that was where it had been poured from, and as it cooled the shinny metal stayed closer to the top.

All in all I think there is something there and the lab confirms it, we just don't know how much value yet and how many. But I know exactly where they are and if there are more I know exactly where to look for them.
