As far as the second question. BID/ASK sizes I just have never figured out. Sometimes they are large 50,000 100,000, 25,000 5,000, sometimes 100, 1. Just never quite figured out why some are different then others.

Lets say we are at .0011 x .0014
right now

If i place a sell order at the ask which is .0014. The ask at .0014 will get bigger on level 2 representing my order and a wall i have created with my sell order @ .0014. This has nothing to do with the MM. Now need so many more buyers to buy the shares from me and whatever other wall we have before the MM'S can move ask up to .0015:
I am selling into the Run here...

We don't always know what or who we are buying or selling from...If an MM bought my shares in the above example...

The MM'S might lower the Bid to get more shares and get a frustrated {investor B} to sell at the bid .0011 to compensate for the good .0014 price i got and the $$ the MM lost when i sold my shares. The MM's then take these shares and sell them @ .0014 to a sucker whose willing to buy @ the ask (inexperienced or impatient)

Balance the equation.

Do you remember the .0014 and .0015 walls we had?
I had a part in them.
