How to pay SGs bills - 101.

Does any one know of some suggested reading about how to read a chart like the ones posted on this board. What the deuce is a MACD? (newb investor)

When my GI Bill kicks in im thinking about taking a few classes. If there is such a thing. Looks like FLIP has resulted in a very steep learning curve, the inverse of the chart.
