This appears to be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Generation embedded process dependednt on the two models listed, that is hooking up with a Google process.

Google Voice Search patent talks about the problems with this current process of VR as does this article. In my opinion this is not a complete result of the Google voice search patent. Google patented a Voice Google Search done the ONEV way from start to finish and actually highlights why what ONEV patented is needed. After much debate they were awarded a patent on doing a Google search the ONEV way.... Thats my opinion on it....

"This feature is experimental, which means a couple of things. First, similar to other voice-recognition technologies, the accuracy of voice recognition will improve over time as more people use the voice search feature. Second, the feature is currently only supported on 8110, 8120 and 8130 BlackBerry Pearl models in the US. Third, we'd love to get your feedback on it -- feel free to leave your comments below."

Webers Quote from 7/08 CC "Look at Google with their voice patents and what do they have? They have a sub-set of our voice patent."
