Most of the parts that were needed for the Collins are off-the-shelf type of items. I'm pretty sure they needed to fabricate some things in regards to the raised platform they were going to use for this particular well though...

This hasn't held them up from working with the well. They have their portable pump jack, and there's nothing to stop them from attaching appropriate fittings and the well head and stuffing box, etc... Until permanent electrical lines are run, they can run the pump jack with a generator. As they nurse this well along to the point where the load water is all out and they've got optimum flow of product, they can't run it 24/7 anyway... not if they want to ensure the well is ready to produce for the long haul. It just takes time. No way around it. If they rush, all that gas pressure could end up working against them.
It serves no useful purpose for Hemi to just sit on this thing, so it's not likely they're just sitting around toasting smores on an open gas flame.
If they can't do anything for the Collins today, there are plenty of other chores to be done on any number of wells cose by and I'm sure they're doing just that... testing additional mature wells... scheduled maintenance on existing producing wells, etc.

If anything they're having problems with wet ground for now. A couple days ago, SE Kansas got dumped on pretty bad with lots of flash flooding and washed out roads, etc.
Much better than last year at the end of July... but still enough to make getting out in what is already a pretty saturated field pretty difficult. That little Hemi ATV can get a body out there to keep things alive and make sure they're still taking out load water and properly venting, etc.

The good news is, subsequent wells on this trend are not going to be experiencing these same wet difficulties because they'll be sitting on sufficiently higher ground with alternative accesses possible. (unless they decide the low spots have all the oil/gas)
