A freeze is basically the same thing as selling a stock. It cost you 0 transactions (Freezes are defensive moves, so they do not cost a transaction), everyone has 4 transactions to start the contest, whether they use them all or not, is up to them. The only things that cost transactions are Unfreezes and Trades.

Now to unfreezes, and unfreeze cost a transaction, basically a freeze is like a cash position, which you can unfreeze for any stock if it qualifies (Over .25, Meets volume requirement, and earnings requirement assuming you have used a wildcard allready, if you have no wildcard then the stock doesn't need to meet the earnings requirement if you see a wildcard you like.)

You have used 1 transaction. So you have 3 left. The Trade deadline which applies for trades/Unfreezes is friday before the market close. So if you want to do a trade/unfreeze of any kind you can do up to 3 of them between now and Friday. Remember you can freeze which is basically just selling a stock right up until the last day, but when it comes to trades/Unfreezes (Offensive moves) Friday is the deadline and you can use up to 3 of them between now and then. I'm not a very good writter, so I hope this is clear. Just my opinion.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
