Yeah, Israel is righteous, and they kicked ass on those civilians.

Setting aside the fact that Israel's troubles are the result of their continuing expansion beyond the borders of the UN mandate, and the fact that the wars are about land and water and the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian population from that land, my post was a comparison of tactics.

Israel is about murder, plain bloody heavy-handed murder of civilians. So the Russian incursion into Georgia reminds me of that. It also reminds me that we have no place criticizing what anyone else does.

Hezbollah is just as strong and recently traded a couple of bodies to Israel for five Lebanese prisoners -- including the infamous convicted murderer Samir Kuntar and four "illegal Lebanese fighters" -- and the remains of 199 Lebanese fighters.

Way to show 'em.
