SAN FRANCISCO, Mar 25, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Insignia Solutions(R) (Nasdaq:INSG), the leading provider of Java-enabling software for the mobile market, today announced its participation in the Microsoft Mobility Partner Advisory Council (MPAC). Microsoft Corp. formed the council in an effort to bring the most innovative and successful solutions to market with like-minded companies investing heavily in mobility.

Insignia's Jeode platform has become the de facto Java-enabling software for a variety of Pocket PC based PDAs including those from Compaq, Samsung, and NEC.
