Not sure if anyone posted this but I came across this article from a few days ago from the Barbados Advocate.

"If all goes well, Barbados could eventually become an exporter of biodiesel, since Amelot management said the company plans to have a significant market share in growing low-cost feedstocks to supply the growing demand for biodiesel, to reduce energy dependency on fossil fuels, to help reduce the US dependency on foreign oil supplies and to reduce the impact of energy on our environment."

I like the sound of that!
