VFIN has always been well known as a distributor of new shares. Many "Sophisticated Investors" which is an SEC class of Investors, that must have a certain "Net Worth" and Liquidity to purchase certain stocks, (These are some of the rich diks that do private placements to small timers like MLXO, and then dump their shares 12 months later. It's been widely known that many of them sell thru VFIN. Why I'm not sure, maybe lower fees or something, but seeing VFIN sit on the ask is never good news. FYI, what it's worth.
