As someone who's passing by as well, just a couple of tidbits you may/may not be interested in.

Had an in person chat with John Rivera (remember him with USSE and all the controversy surrounding the proposed partnership) a couple of weeks ago as he has relocated and set up operations in my home town.

After introducing myself, I mentioned how I became aware of his work following the pr's and of course my significant lose with ACMG when I finally sold. Without hesitation he stated "I lost $600k on that deal".

Obviously I wanted some sort of closure that so many here are speculating on. I've always been brought up to give people the benefit of the doubt, to think people are basically good at heart and believe there must be a reasonable explanation why events/delays, etc. happen as they do. This "feeling" was in conjunction with what was posted on the ACMG website that things were "legit".

A couple I recall that made an impression: "We do not need any additional funding" as I recall an answer to a question if additional private placement money was needed and the selling of the old technology to A & M Polymers which we couldn't validate (but I personally dismissed) to make room for the "new technology"

So at this juncture, not believing I now have an opportunity to perhaps validate my own suspicions, I ask the follow-up question, "well, what happened?", and again without hesitation he replied "he didn't have nothing".

I didn't ask any further questions on the subject. I somehow felt relieved if that makes any sense to anyone.

Understandably, this won't change a thing for the supporters for Alex Cavasin (sp?) nor will it add credibility to John Rivera especially with the increased controversies of late but I have to tell you there's something to be said being in someone's presence, looking them in the eye and getting a response especially when there's nothing to gain at this point what? (2) years later. Personally, I believe him. Alex must have been rather convincing for JR to pony-up. If one will at least entertain the idea that this is a possibility, it might bring a nano bit of comfort knowing someone closer to the process got duped worse than we did.

I thought I'd take the time to either incur someone's rath, help other's perhaps get a little closure themselves or a least entertain with more rhetoric for someone to dismiss as they see fit.

GLTA.
