That's a good point re: EZcodes Sean.

And it's good to see the patent verbiage in Apple's submission terms.

However , I seriously doubt (based on nothing other than my opinion lol) that Apple is taking the time or incurring the cost to do any sort of 'patent investigation' relative to any of their 1000's of submissions. Their verbiage just puts a developer on notice and probably also gives Apple the CYA they need in the event of a transgression.
