By default , if an app shows up in the store it had to be reviewed and ultimately 'approved'. However , the term 'endorse' used in most contexts implies more than just saying 'it passed our app development rules'.
2 a: to approve openly <endorse an idea>; especially : to express support or approval of publicly and definitely <endorse a mayoral candidate> b: to recommend (as a product or service) usually for financial compensation <shoes endorsed by a pro basketball player>
Anyway , I was hoping I had missed Apple coming out and ENDORSING NeoReader as is implied by "Having Apple endorse NeoReader". But apparently not.
