Having Apple endorse NeoReader is a great start for others to follow suit, especially if the inertia behind 2d barcode growth is as strong as has been suggested, not only by the Brands and Ad Agencies, but more importantly the standard bodies as well.

Having the likes of MC2, GSMA, OMA and CTIA aligned with NeoMedia against rival Google and the OHA is more evidence of just how big, complex and important the PWC landscape really is,...and this does not speak to Carrier alignment or Nokia's open source initiative Symbian Foundation:

Nokia's open source initiative is yet another effort to counter Google's 'open source' project Android and its ZXing barcode scanner OS.
