Statement by Dr. Moro: "The derailing of the GE purchase of Abbott Diagnostics and more importantly, the advent of an economic recession of this proportion was obviously not predictable". Parse that down a little and you have this.

<<The derailing of the GE purchase of Abbott Diagnostics was obviously not predictable.>>

For those who think the deal with Abbott is pressing on as normal, you need to look at Dr. Moro's comment. What he is basically saying is that he may have had suspicions that Abbott was not going to move forward back in June of 2007. If the Abbott license is presently moving forward as some think, why would GE backing out even be mentioned by Dr. Moro to have effected BioCurex? You can surmise that Dr. Moro thought GE would continue to move RECAF to market whereas Abbott has ceased work.

I am also concerned about what happened to therapeutics. He was immediately going to spend a substantial amount of the Smithline money to advance therapeutics but he did not. What made him change directions? Did he have doubts Abbott was going to continue once GE canceled?

Actually, it is a good thing he did not make the large expenditures becasuse cash may be a problem later this year.
