Who were the crooks? I think the board members who resigned just lost faith. They gave up all their back pay, which they would have received when a loan comes through. The company has accumulated debt of $15 million. They have been sued by their past legal and consulting firms. Now they are being sued for $250,000 for unpaid rent. The original CEO quit and returned 9 million shares with zero compensation. They have been big on grandiose plans and abysmal on execution. Their development permit expired in March 2008. The last land deal just withered away with no comment from the board. Every deadline passes with deafening silence from management. How can they say "we expect an announcement in 10 days" and then never mention it again, ever? But hope never dies.
