So let's not even bring up some "African" heritage that was lost and blame everything on slavery. Unless one's actually been there and can demonstrate what that heritage actually is/was. You will find that the heritage of Africa is a very violent one. In Kenya today, you have christians murdering muslims and vice versa over a fixed election on both sides. The heritage Kenyans are striving for is the heritage you already enjoy today if you only take advantage of your opportunities here. - Sam

Sam, Blacks were under major oppression in America up until 1990 and still have inequilties today. Your still a slave if you are not allowed to own land, read, write, or vote, which blacks could not do in the 1900's. The heritage I speak of is African, The one that was not passed on from generation to generation because of slavery. The language that was not allowed to be spoken because whites were scare to let the slaves speak because they feared revolt. Families broken up when the father, mother, or child was sold to another owner never to see each other again.
