iPhone Purchase

Monday I was in the iPhone line at 0930; University Store, Seattle. Everyone seemed to prefer the black but they sold them early. We got a chit guaranteeing a 16 gig white if exercised before 1800 hours.

About, 1000 the AT&T credit authorization server for the West coast went down. Only non-AT&T users were effected. I waited since this was the last chance to purchase for another month. Waiting out on the lawn, I had a chance to update all of the new software. At 1145, I was the guinea pig to see if the transaction would complete. Sailed through in 15 minutes.

This is one cool gadget. It did take some time figuring out how to do things. Apple could do a better job of printing out instructions. Things are working well, one day later.
