I'm here for the same reasons--
optimistic that we've found something that could be quite big, and our patience and optimism will be paid off nicely.
but one has got to take off the rose-colored glasses from time to time to see that in fact NEOM has shown time and again that it is where it is right now for a reason-
poor business decisions (12snap, etc.)...
insane YA 'financing' that can ONLY lead to dilution, which harms us all...
revolving door management...
lack of revenues, deals, fiscal responsibility...
lackluster performance in the space at best...
questionable handling of the 'rock solid' patent position...
inconsistent and inconclusive communication standards...
and this list goes on.
but, be that as it may, NEOM is still sitting in what may be the next BIG 'communication/media' revolution-
IF the above can be capitalize upon, and IF the aforementioned negative perceptions and realities can be addressed, and IF large companies and the public hop on board enthusiastically, THEN perhaps we prosper---
perhaps.
otherwise, we're holding on to the next 'pet rock' without even the benefit of something tangible to hold or toss at HQ when the fad dies quickly.
I suppose we'll see.
I'm willing to hold a bit more to see what Iain et al can accomplish.
that makes me an optimist, all things considered.
good luck to you, and us all.
